Logic Puzzles #23-25 - Internal Conflicts

Image
Internal Conflicts On puzz.link, regions are made of individual edges, each separating two different cells. However, using those individual edges, it is possible to create internal borders that do not form regions. These three puzzles are using this "exploit", which result in some interesting consequence stemming from error-checking. Due to the subtleties of internal border, the rules have been modified to encompensate that. Changed sections are in bold. Country Road Rules and link Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells which passes through exactly two bold borders in, or on the exterior of each region . A number in a region represents how many cells in the region are visited by the loop. Orthogonally adjacent cells across a bold border may not both be unused. You can solve this puzzle here using puzz.link's interface Heyawake Rules and link Shade some cells so that no two shaded cells are orthogonally adjacent and the remaining unshaded cells for...

Logic Puzzles #11-22 - Bite Sized Loops

Image
Bite Sized Loops These are some old puzzles of mine. They are not particularly difficult, but they are small (all 6x6).. and there's 12 of them! Balance Loop Rules and link Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells that passes through every circle. The straight line segments coming out of a white circle must have equal length, while the straight line segments coming out of a black circle must have different lengths. A clue in a circle represents the sum of the lengths of these two line segments. You can solve this puzzle here using puzz.link's interface Castle Wall Rules and link Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells. The loop may not enter outlined cells or cells containing clues. White cells with outlines must lie inside the loop, while black cells with outlines must lie outside the loop. Grey cells may either be inside or outside the loop. A number represents the sum of the lengths of loop segments in the indicated direction. You...

Logic Puzzle #7 - 22nd Street

22nd Street This is a new puzzle of mine. There are only 2 clues in this country road, no matter how you interpret "2 clues" (hehe). As a warning, I think it is a bit fuzzy at points (but should be solvable regardless)! Rules and link Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells which passes through each region exactly once. A number in a region represents how many cells in the region are visited by the loop. Orthogonally adjacent cells across a region border may not both be unused. You can solve this puzzle here using puzz.link's interface
